As ever in pro wrestling it is hard to know where "the shoot" starts and "the worked angles" begins... F4WOnline reports that sources in both WWE and UFC are skeptical over just how bad Brock Lesnar and UFC President Dana White's recent meeting went. White claimed last week that the recent talk with Lesnar was one of the worst they had ever ever shared and was not part of a UFC/WWE agreement to further Lesnar's current "quit" storyline with the WWE. Sources within WWE almost universally agree that Vince McMahon has an iron-clad contract with Lesnar which rules him out of fighting for UFC until after WrestleMania 29 on on April 7, 2013. UFC officials however are suggesting that Lesnar's limited dates deal with the WWE is non-exclusive and that he and Dana White were discussing a potential fight, perhaps for the Autumn after WWE SummerSlam in August, during their recent meeting. However there are many skeptical in UFC that Lesnar would fight for the company even if his WWE contract allowed him too as his heart is no longer in MMA, otherwise he wouldn't have quit in the first place. In the end, most people this UFC meeting mischief was to increase his bargaining power and leverage with the WWE after he was unhappy with how he was used in WWE Extreme Rules feud with John Cena.
