WWE's Dominik Mysterio & Rhea Ripley Ruin Valentine's Day For Rey Mysterio
Dom and Rhea ruined yet another celebration for Rey and Angie.
Having already ruined Thanksgiving and Christmas for his family, Dominik Mysterio - and, of course, Rhea Ripley - have now ruined Valentine's Day for Rey Mysterio and his wife Angie.
It was reported on Monday that Rey was in Brooklyn for this week's Raw, but it was said that he would not actually be featured on this week's Monday flagship. As it turns out, the reason for the Master of the 619 to be in Brooklyn was to film a Valentine's Day segment with his wife Angie at a local restaurant.
Posted online by WWE, this latest butting of heads between Dom and his father sees Ex-Con Dom and his Mami check in at a restaurant. Following Dominik bragging about how he made wine in a prison toilet, it's soon revealed that the restaurant reservation for Mysterio has already been taken up by Rey Mysterio.
Confronting his parents, Dominik lambasts them for ruining his first Valentine's Day with Ripley, pours their drinks away, and tells Rey he ruined his childhood. Deciding that they don't want any trouble, Rey and Angie get up and leave the restaurant, with Dom and Rhea taking a seat and ordering the most expensive bottle of champagne and some chicken tenders... with no ketchup, as that's too spicy for Dominik.
The action then skips forward three hours, where Dominik's card is declined when he looks to settle the bill. Likewise, upon spotting a couple of cops, the younger Mysterio makes a quick exit for fear of being caught in an elaborate sting operation. From there, Rhea is left to pay the bill by cash.
While Dominik and Rey are obviously on separate brands these days, the belief is that, yes, we will finally get Dominik Mysterio vs. Rey Mysterio at WrestleMania 39 this April.
