Rey Mysterio was brutally assaulted in his own home by son Dominik and Rhea Ripley!

The Judgment Day pair were shown visiting the Mysterio family home on Thanksgiving Night, ostensibly to join the family meal. But when Rey's wife and Dominik's mother Angie rejected them at the door, they barged their way in and destroyed the former WWE Champion.

The home invasion was revealed by WWE through their official Twitter account, as filmed presumably by an unnamed associate of The Judgment Day/happy couple.

After flooring Rey, Dominick smashed a framed picture of Father and Son over Mysterio's already-injured ankle. Mysterio was wearing a surgical boot during the bit as he recovers from the knock that kept him out of SmackDown's recent World Cup. The image Dom used was of the two of them celebrating Rey's United States Championship victory in 2019. He finished the job with a broom seconds later.

The angle is a continuation of the tremendous Mysterio family drama that surely has WrestleMania down as the set destination. Rey recently moved to SmackDown to escape the constant challenges from his son on Monday Night Raw, but with Dominik now literally bringing his anger to Dad's door, a violent response seems inevitable.
