WWE's Jeff Hardy Arrested
'Charismatic Enigma' charged again...
Jeff Hardy was arrested and charged with driving while impaired, according to PWInsider.com.
He was picked while driving in Moore County, North Carolina and charged the same night. The Moore County Police Department confirmed that the 'Charismatic Enigma' was eventually allowed home from his incarceration around 11:30pm, but elected not give any other details regarding the nature of the charge due to continuing investigations.
Hardy hasn't wrestled since a post-WrestleMania tag team title run due to a leg injury, but was in trouble with the law as recently as July, again due to alcohol-related charges.
The younger Hardy brother returned to WWE in 2017 alongside Matt at WrestleMania 33 to one of the biggest reactions of the modern era. The pair enjoyed a prosperous run as Raw Tag Team Champions before splitting off to achieve moderate singles success. A revealing 24 Special on the pair in 2018 discussed various drug and alcohol struggles the pair had endured, with Matt expressing worry for Jeff's ongoing battle.
WWE are yet to comment on the situation, nor has a timeline been discussed or revealed for his eventual return.
