10 Avengers Enemies That Are MORE Powerful Than Thanos
10. Kang The Conqueror
A true warlord of time, to judge Kang by his blue and purple spaceman appearance would be a serious underestimationof his power.
Before taking on the Conqueror identity, Kang was once Nathaniel Richards; a 31st century historian who was believed to be a descendant of the Fantastic Four's own Reed Richards.
Fascinated with the breadth of knowledge and power the history of Earth had to offer, he soon became drunk with ambition. After discovering some time travel technology left behind by long-time villain Doctor Doom, Richards traveled back to ancient Egypt and began his ruling as Pharaoh, known simply as Rama Tut.
Finding resistance in the form of the pesky Fantastic Four, Kang was soon defeated and forced from the timeline, discovering an alternate future Earth left completely in ruins. Easily conquering this abandoned future, Richards took on the name of Kang and vowed to conquer all of history.
While not physically superhuman, Kang's intellect and mastery of future technology is unsurpassed, possessing a powerful suit of amour and a time ship that allows him to travel in both time and space.
But what makes Kang truly powerful is his ability to move between alternate timelines rather than moving back and forth on the same one. This means if he fails at conquering one timeline, he has an infinite number of other to choose from. Beat that one, Time Stone.
