Dennis is a household name now and is one of the most famous characters created by DC Thompson. His roguish antics have made him a loveable, if complicated, character in the British comic scene

Dennis is the protagonist of his comic, but at the end of the day, he is a menace to the people around him, and is not a traditional hero, especially to Beanotown, or its residents.
