10. Hank Pym

Hank Pym, the original Ant-Man and one of the founding members of the Avengers, is still technically in the Marvel Universe, but he hasn't exactly been himself for the past few years. Since early 2015 in the Rage of Ultron graphic novel, Pym has been fused with Ultron, creating an entirely new character.

With Marvel seemingly returning the majority of its characters to their original roles, this merged Avenger should, ideally, make his way back to his heroic ways. Best known for being the insane scientist that hit his wife that one time and creating Ultron, Hank has a longer path than most other characters to redemption.

With a potential future event teased at the end of Civil War II, Ultron is shown to be fighting the Avengers. What's noticeable is that the Avengers villain appears to have become separate from Hank before this fight occurs. With Ultron reverting to his purely villainous self, it could reunite all of Earth's Mightiest Heroes and kick off a new age of comics - hopefully with Hank in tow.
