10 Comic Book Characters Everyone Hates (And Why They're Wrong)

6. Jubilee

Jubilation Lee is about as 1990 as you can possibly get. Ever since her introduction in the Uncanny X-Men #244, she has been seen to be all buzz words, fluorescent clothing and very little else. But scratch the surface and a far more fleshed out character lays underneath.

She may have started out as a spoilt Beverly Hills mall brat (who eats chilli fries), but over the past 30 years she has transformed into one of the more interesting members of the Marvel Universe.

Though not recognized as an Omega level mutant, it has been revealed by Emma Frost that Jubilee has the equivalent energy stored up in her 'fireworks' to equal an atomic bomb detonation. She has also been a vampire for a while too, and come on, who doesn't love vampires?

Also worth noting is that she's a member of numerous teams, found a surrogate father in the shape of Wolverine (y'know, that guy that hates literally everyone) as well as having lost, and then regained, her powers during M-Day.

Once upon a time, Jubilee might have been a one-dimensional creation, but these days - and after everything she has been through - she's more fleshed out than most.
