Dragonball Z's protagonist shares the Hulk's specialty - long, world-shaking fights - but the power levels in DBZ are so insane that they render the very concept of power levels meaningless. "It's over nine thooooousand" whats, exactly? It is a little tricky to define Goku's "default" power level because, unlike most of the characters on this list, he has a story of growth. He spends far longer learning and developing his abilities than, say, Superman or the Silver Surfer. Still, most fans would measure the character at the moment of his real glory days: the point at which Vegeta came to Earth. And then you throw Super Saiyan forms into the mix - which, like the Hulk's, are powered by rage or desperation - and it's pretty much game over. One caveat: DBZ fights take so long to develop, it's conceivable that the Hulk could ramp his strength up to Ultra Saiyan levels by the third or fourth chapter.
