10 Dream Creative Teams To Reboot Batman

10. Joshua Williamson & David Marquez

The likelihood is that DC will choose someone that is already involved in writing something Bat-related to helm the main series, meaning that Joshua Williamson is probably already on their shortlist.

Williamson co-wrote the Batman/Flash crossover The Button, its kind-of follow up The Price and is currently working on Batman/Superman. In all of these books Williamson's Batman has been great, especially in his interactions with other heroes. So, if he can write a great Batman elsewhere, he should also be able to do it within the character's solo book.

In that event, his Batman/Superman collaborator David Marquez should be the one to do the art.

Marquez is an utterly sensational artist, his style consisting of classic comic book feel as well as a phenomenal amount of detail that leads to some delicious renditions of characters. As demonstrated in Batman/Superman, this style suits Batman a lot.
