10 Famous Comic Books You Won't Believe Were Written By Celebrities
10. Warrior - Ultimate Warrior
Because wrestlers already resemble superheroes and have such larger-than-life personas, it's not too surprising to learn several of them have their own comic series including Undertaker, Stone Cold, and The Rock.
However, the most over-the-top wrestling series has to be Warrior, which centres around one of the most legendary wrestlers, Jim Hellwig AKAThe Ultimate Warrior. What makes the four-part series stand out was that it was actually written by Hellwig (who had legally changed his name to Warrior at the time).
Unfortunately, the comic itself is as incomprehensible as one of Warrior's monologues during his time in WWF. Throughout the "story", the wrestling superstar keeps using the word "Destrucity" but keeps changing what it means. He travels to other realities and battles supervillains, his own costume, his evil twin, the Grinch, and Santa Claus.
As he journeys for... something... his quest is constantly interrupted by absurd dialogue like "Bad ass dream or not... stillness allows the who what why to find me. I'll jack a track ahead." Just to be clear, all of the text is like that! Unsurprisingly, the series tanked and it is incredibly rare to find nowadays.
