6. Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina

Reading the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is sort of like meeting up with on old childhood friend, and then them immediately stabbing you. There’s something about having a classic 90s sitcom made into a genuinely terrifying story that is as enthralling as it is unnerving.

Very few comics manage to be half charming comedies about growing up, and half hair-raising nightmare about the occult – and even fewer do it well. But the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina somehow manages to manage all that, and still keep the tone and style of the show it’s based on, which is nothing short of a straight-up miracle – especially when you remember the show was essentially a light comedy.

If every comic could contain equal amounts of boy drama and horrific demonic creatures, the world would be a better place.
