5. Lady Stilt-Man

Lady Stilt-Man is a B-list villain with little backstory. Showing up in over a dozen issues, she was first introduced in the Amazing Spider-Man #611.

Her costume is a knockoff of Stilt-Man's (or as Lady Stilt-Man says "an homage").

What is lost in originality is not made up for in utility. At first glance, Lady Stilt-Man's costume doesn't seem half-bad. She has full covering body-armor, a metal mask and flexible hydraulic legs that can extend her to great heights. The problem with her design, however, becomes apparent in her first battle with Spider-Man.

Fighting on stilts, even super high-tech mechanical ones, isn't practical. She must weave her way through crowded streets full of cars, while the webslinger can simply swing from building- to-building.

Trying to focus on an in-the-air battle while her feet are stomping about miles below her puts Lady Stilt-Man at a disadvantage. Her easy defeat comes from Deadpool simply removing a sewer grate. With a startled cry of "Oh my God, where's the ground?!?!" Lady Stilt-Man is quickly immobilized, one of her stilts plunges down into the sewer, causing her to topple over into a pile of useless metal limbs.
