Telekinesis and telepathy - two powers of the mind - often go hand in hand with each other, which is why they're being included in one "psionic" entry as a pair here. In the live action Christopher Reeve Superman movies, the titular hero used a form of telekinesis to lift people through the air and to rebuild the Great Wall of China after a section of it had been destroyed. In the comics, tactile telekinesis was given as the explanation for Superman's ability to fly, but also as the reason he could move objects with his mind, whereby anything he touches develops a telekinetic field that enables him to control it. Telepathy-wise, he has displayed the abilities to both read and manipulate the minds of his opponents and, in the live action 1990s television series Lois and Clark, Kryptonians could speak to each other via the use of the power.
