10 Most Dangerous Comic Book Villains That Don't Have Any Powers

10. Mysterio

Mysterio, the Master of Illusion, has faced off against Spider-Man and other heroes like Daredevil over the years since his inception in 1964's Amazing Spider-Man #13. There have been four people that have taken up the mantle of Mysterio, but none is more famous than the original Quinten Beck.

Though at first glance one might think that Mysterio has superpowers, his mastery of illusions stems from his background as a special effects expert in the movie industry, as well as mastering hypnotism and having amateur knowledge of chemistry and robotics.

If he wanted to Mysterio could rock the Marvel universe to its core, as his illusions are strong enough to trick even Daredevil and Wolverine - most infamously in the Old Man Logan storyline, which saw a group of villains invade the X-Mansion.

Without hesitation, Wolverine killed all the villains, only for Mysterio reveal that they were the X-Men, and that he had tricked Wolverine into brutally killing them.

Spider-Man should be grateful that Mysterio usually only has an eye for robbing banks - because if he wanted to, he could turn Spider-Man's world upside down without a moment's hesitation.
