10. Gorilla Grodd

If a highly intelligent telepathic gorilla who controls minds doesn't belong on this list, then nobody does. Grodd's origins are also really interesting, with the monkey having lived in Africa, when out of the blue an alien spacecraft crash landed and the pilot starts dished out superintelligence rays.

This leads to Gorilla City being built and a time of peace for them, until outsiders discover their little nirvana, which gives Grodd the perfect opportunity to seize control for himself. Now the one true leader of his people, he sets his sights on conquering the rest of the planet.

Just let that sink in for a moment. A monkey overthrows his alien leader and then decides it's time to enslave mankind and, let's be honest here, if it wasn't for the Flash's constant interference, he almost pulls it off every time.

As strong and vicious as he is a genius, Gorilla Grodd should never be underestimated. After all, he has proven time and again that he is more than a match for any Superhero that dares stand against him, whether that is his longtime nemesis, or even the Justice League.
