Every member of the Fantastic Four has more powers than you could possibly imagine.
Just to mix it up, comic writers sometimes give a superhero a brand new power. In recent years, Superman developed a combustible ability called the Super Flare. The Flash seems to find a new power almost every month as he experiments with the Speed Force.
Only last year, Daredevil became a freaking god! Alterations in the status quo like are usually dismissed by readers as nothing more than a gimmick. But every once in a while, these tweaks drastically change the characters and stories for the better.
Case in point, let's look at the Fantastic Four member, Susan Storm. Upon her debut, her only ability was to turn transparent. Two years later, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee decided to give her the ability to generate force fields. Although Susan was originally considered the weakest of the Fantastic Four, this new development turned her into the most powerful member of the team.
However, this is one of over a dozen times Marvel's First Family developed new abilities. There's more to Ben Grimm's powers than "being the rock guy". Johnny Storm can do much more than turn into fire. Reed Richards' stretching abilities may seem silly but many readers don't realise how unstoppable he is.

10. Invisible Woman's Light Manipulation
Susan Storm has the ability to bend light, rendering her invisible. As she demonstrated in her own Invisible Woman mini-series, she can make objects and other people transparent too. She uses this ability on enemies' guns so they can't use their weapons. She can also turn a person's optic nerves invisible, rendering them blind.
On many occasions, Sue has made herself imperceptible so she can sneak into secure locations such as Doctor Doom's castle or Annihilus' fortress. If you think supervillains have other methods of detecting her, it's not that easy.
Sue's abilities are so advanced, she is undetectable on most frequencies. If she concentrates, she can become invisible to infrared and ultraviolet light, meaning she can't be picked up by radar or x-rays.
Not only can she bend light, she can reflect different light surfaces and thus, change its appearance. She has used this ability to alter her hair and skin colour to avoid being recognised. Reflecting light like this gives her a headache so she only uses it when absolutely necessary (except one time when she turned The Thing pink because she thought it would be funny. And it was).
