10. There's Only One 'Hulk'

One of the most crucial details when reading anything involving Bruce Banner and his alter ego is knowing that he is not the only Hulk to exist in the Marvel universe.

Firstly, Banner isn't the only person to have been exposed to gamma radiation, meaning that there are several others Hulks of varying shapes, colours and genders roaming the lands.

Secondly, even if folks like General Ross and Amadeus Cho weren't also Hulks, Bruce's own fractured psyche means that there is more than just one Hulk lying about in his head. In fact, the one that is most familiar to us - the 'Savage Hulk', named for his rage - is one of roughly a dozen alter egos that Banner has stored away in his mind.

While the Savage Hulk becomes 'the Hulk' for ease of reference in comics, he is by no means the only one - which is well worth remembering so the assorted cast of colorful bodybuilders don't leave you scratching your head every time you see them.
