Kamala Khan is another of the best, most exciting recent additions to Marvel comics. The new Ms Marvel evoked a lot of the best things about the early Spider-Man issues, too, with a teenage outcast overcoming as much drama at home and with her friends as she does with fighting supervillains. Coupled with some dope art, it was a hit across the board. Writer G Willow Wilson put her foot in her mouth a little (and was apparently swiftly reprimanded by somebody behind-the-scenes), announcing on Twitter that And, again, MS MARVEL is not coming to an endafter our SECRET WARS tie-in, well reboot the series in the fall, with rest of Marvel U. Marvel are very clear on not wanting to call Secret Wars a reboot. So instead, Wilson walked back a little and described post-event Ms Marvel to be a jumping on point or relaunch. Which probably means a new first issue, but all of the storylines and characters introduced in the book so far remaining more or less intact. Hooray!
