10 Things You Need To Know About X-Men's Domino
10. Her Origin
Domino was born as part of Project: Armageddon, a top-secret government breeding program involved in the surprisingly competitive creating the ultimate weapon game.
Neena was the only subject to survive the process but her mutant powers were an anomaly and she was deemed a failure. Before she could be disposed of though, her biological mother broke her out and left her in the care of Father Rudolpho Boschelli in the Church of the Sacred Heart in Chicago.
When she was older, Neena took a pretty lateral career move, leaving the church to become a mercenary. One of her first missions was to protect the scientist, Doctor Milo Thurman. The two fell in love and they eventually married. Milo even gave her the nickname "Domino", for her pale white skin and the black spot over one of her eyes.
The Thurman's were separated when A.I.M members raided Milo's facilities. He was whisked off to an unknown safe location and Neena seemingly died fighting the evil beekeepers.
Domino obviously survived though, otherwise this would be a pretty short article. Whilst initially pretty distraught with the way her husband seemingly abandoned her, she eventually got over it and returned to life as a mercenary.
