10. Manipulating The Avengers - Ultimate Spider-Man #150

Not everything Carol Danvers does wrong is absolutely awful. Take, for example, her efforts in the Ultimates series, where she manages to convince the Avengers to train a young vigilante Spider-Man by purposefully setting Iron Man, Thor, and Captain America against one another.

By all means, getting Peter some training isn't a bad move - but manipulating the Avengers against one another in order to do so feels super sketchy. Worse yet, Danvers totally fails to remind the three that Peter's superhero identity is secret, meaning that Iron Man just rocks up onto Parker's driveway looking for him, totally forgetting that this sort of thing naturally draws attention from any and every nearby civilian.

While it's nowhere near as bad as many of the other things Captain Marvel has ever done, this is also undeniably not one of her finer moments.
