I'm not going to sit here and knock Superman. I used to hate him, but now I've come to respect him, if nothing else. And I don't think he's an idiot by any means, but sometimes I'm not convinced he knows what he's doing. He's often outsmarted and out-witted by the likes of Lex Luthor (who actually became president), and though it makes for some great stories, it's not the most redeeming quality for a president. He certainly has an interest in the people, the common good, and the basic morality of mankind, and the fact that the sentence "Our president is mother*fucking Superman" is something that would go viral faster than Nicolas Cage giving birth to a cat is nothing to bat an eye at; but that doesn't change the fact that Superman doesn't belong in an office giving orders. He's much more of a hands-on, fire-lasers-out-of-his-eyes guy.
