What are the two things that Thor is best known for? His mighty physique, naturally, and the fact that he neversleeps in late. Yes, it must have taken some imagination to come up with this licensed piece of merchandising. Is it even a dumbbell at all? Maybe it's supposed to be a shake weight? Thor does have impressively toned arms, after all. This really is just a case of sticking a name on literally anything and assuming it will sell to the fans. It doesn't even work well as an alarm clock, as the dumbbell shape makes the thing roll off your bedside cabinet when you try and turn it off. If only there had been some square-shaped item they could have used that's associated with Thor. Maybe some kind of hammer, perhaps?
