8. Juggernaut

Professor Charles Xavier’s stepbrother, Cain Marko, is better-known as the unstoppable Juggernaut. His power is derived from the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak, which makes him virtually unkillable. Not only is he encased in enchanted armour and has muscles four times denser than the average human, but he has a healing factor that puts Wolverine's to shame. In the 1997 story, Juggernaut #1, the demonic creature, D’Spayre used his dark magic to rip the flesh off Marko . Despite being whittled down to his bare skeleton, Juggernaut continued to battle and taunt the demon.

He has faced the most powerful beings in Marvel including Thor, Hulk, and Onslaught. Although he has lost a fight here and there, no one has ever managed to put him down for good.

Despite being left vulnerable a number of times after he lost his magical abilities, no one has managed to kill him - at least not in the main Marvel universe.
