8. Electrocuted By Storm

In the alternate-universe X-Men Forever comics, an unstable clone of Storm fights with the X-Men against the malevolent villain Shadow King; an entity with several arcane powers including possession and telepathy.

During the team's scuffle with the creature, Storm comes into contact with him, absorbing some of his evil and becoming notably more hostile towards the other X-Men. Soon enough, Storm seeks out the Consortium - an anti-mutant group - and recruits them in a new crusade against her former teammates.

Rightfully suspicious of Storm's new behaviour, Wolverine begins to tail her, which draws the ire of the Consortium, who then ask Storm to deal with him. She responds by using her lightning to mercilessly electrocute Logan until he's nothing but ash and Adamantium, ostensibly leaving him with no tissue left to regenerate.
