5. Rocket #2 - Rocket’s Trial

Another funny bit – the Rocket series was pitched as Parker in space, with the master thief played by a talking raccoon, and originally it was supposed to be a lot more deadpan. But once I came up with the idea of an alien pastiche of Matt Murdock as Rocket’s lawyer, I couldn’t let it go.

There might be more dramatic or smarter scenes in that miniseries, than a goofy riff on the Marvel TV show du jour – including my usual dig at that time Daredevil pretended to be his own twin brother - but I can’t think of one I had more fun writing.
