8. Poison Ivy (Batman And Robin)
There is no way a couple of Joel Schumachers bastardised versions of some beloved villains are not making it on this list. While somewhat of a divided character amongst fanboys, theres no doubt that Poison Ivy is one of the caped crusaders most notorious foes. Her obsession with plant life and the earth gives her motive that a lot of people can relate to, and her immunity to toxins gives her a threatening weapon when going up against the Bats.
However, Joel Schumacher decided to take these tremendous characteristics, throw in a dash of Benny Hill, a hint of Marilyn Monroe, and a whole heap of the Batman 60s TV show and destroy any menace the character may have had. Not only this, but apparently throwing a bit of plastic on your lips is all you need to overcome one of comic books most iconic females. Stay tuned for more Schumacher fine tuning later on.
