10. The Fantastic Four - Marvel Zombies: Dead Days

In one of the more unpredictable deaths Thor has ever had, Marvel Zombies: Dead Days has the God of Thunder pass away offscreen after being torn apart by a zombified version of The Fantastic Four, turning him into yet another member of the undead hordes.

It's absolutely bizarre, because you'd presume that a major character like Thor would be given a pretty huge death - or at least something on-page - but instead we more or less miss his entire death, having to put the pieces together ourselves when we see his undead mug pop up once more.

This version of Thor would die again for reals in Marvel Zombies #3, after being blasted by another zombie who had gained Silver Surfer's powers after eating him. Some zombies get all the luck, we guess.
