Now the weirdness starts. Marvel haven't just been reaching into their classic cavalcade of comics for environments in Battleworld - although those are the ones they've been leaning on for the promotion - but they've been plumbing the more obscure corners of their publication history, too. That's where Weirdworld comes from, a seventies story that ran in the Marvel Super Action anthology series that was more in line with high fantasy and European comics like Conan and Heavy Metal. So seeing them interact with, say, the Apocalypse lot will be...interesting.
