Here's a nice and easy one. Hala is the central part of the Kree empire those blue-skinned aliens of which the original Captain Marvel was a member, and who have made cameo appearances in the TV series Agents Of SHIELD and the Guardians Of The Galaxy movie which exists in the regular Marvel Universe, just outside of the solar system. The Hala Field, then, is probably just a place for the Kree to hang out. Unfortunately the Kree are not a peaceful race, being locked in an eternal war with the shape-shifting Skrulls, so don't expect to see them go down without a fight.
