Back when Spider-Man debuted in Amazing Fantasy #15, Peter Parker was just breaking into the exciting world of entertainment via a wrestling match he entered to earn some quick cash.

Unlike the ways it has been depicted in the films, the original comic had Spider-Man debut in blue slacks, a white collared shirt, loafers, and a mask made of webbing, which worked for his purposes, but didn't look great in the long run.
