Spider-Man: 10 Ways Miles Morales Is Eclipsing Peter Parker

10. He's More Power-Focused And Uses Less Gadgets

With Peter Parker's role as the CEO of Parker Industries allowing him to continue to flex the creative muscles he developed at Horizon, we're starting to see him add all manner of gadgets to the famous red and blue suit as Spider-Man. While this is great for the character, it sadly means we're seeing a little less of him "doing whatever a spider can", so to speak.

For Miles Morales - who doesn't have the benefit of wealth and technology behind him - things are a lot more natural. Miles has to rely on the power set that he shares with Peter, along with the extra little gems that are unique to his abilities.

The likes of the venom blast and camouflage that he's able to call on give him some great options that aren't gadget-reliant. Even from the pages of the 'Spider-Men' crossover mini-series we've seen these things at work, like when Miles temporarily stuns Peter with the use of that venom blast.

Where Peter now seemingly has a tool for all scenarios, Miles is forced to adapt and apply his powers to succeed in varied situations and it makes for an exciting, unpredictable set of events.
