Some of Shakespeares most recognizable scenes and characters are played out in Henry VI. It stars a stunning British cast including Queen Margaret (Sophie Okonedo), Humphrey, Duke of Gloucester (Hugh Bonneville) , Eleanor, Duchess of Gloucester (Sally Hawkins), Henry VI (Tom Sturridge), Plantagenet (Adrian Dunbar), Vernon (Stuart McQuarrie), Edward IV (Geoffery Streatfeild), Young Cecily (Lucy Robinson), The Bishop of Winchester (Samuel West), Warwick (Stanley Townsend), Mortimer (Michael Gambon), Exeter (Anton Lesser), Somerset (Ben Miles), Suffolk (Jason Watkins) and Talbot (Philip Glenister).

The final episode of this Hollow Crown series is Richard III, which depicts the rise and subsequent quick fall of Richard III (Benedict Cumberbatch) in power. This episode features a similarly star studded cast of The Duchess of York (Judi Dench), Queen Margaret (Sophie Okonedo), Queen Elizabeth (Keeley Hawes), Edward IV (Geoffery Streatfeild), and George (Sam Troughton).
