10 2017 Horror Movies To Sate Your Bloodlust Until Halloween
10. Get Out
Officially slated for release in the UK on March 17th 2017, Get Out is one of the surprise hits of the year so far, currently holding a perfect 100% on Rotten Tomatoes. This makes it one of only five films in the horror genre to do so; a feat made even more impressive when you consider that Get Out is the only film on the list with more than 100 reviews.
The film follows interracial couple Chris and Rose as Chris is introduced to her affluent parents for the first time. Needless to say, things soon start to get very strange as Chris realises there may be something very sinister going on at the family's estate.
This is the directorial debut of high-profile comedian Jordan Peele, who also penned the script, and the movie is getting a lot of love. If you're into smart horror with a comedic slant and something to say, then it looks like this could be the movie for you.
