To infinity and then behind bars.

The voice of Buzz Lightyear is no stranger to having his mugshot taken with two of his on file in the famous document archive 'The Smoking Gun'. Allen's first mugshot was taken pre-fame when he was arrested in 1978 for drug trafficking and subsequently spent two years and four months in federal prison.

He was arrested in the Battle Creek International Airport for possession of over 650 grams of cocaine after he was caught trying to sell to an undercover police officer. Under strict Michigan drug laws, Allen could have been sentenced to life but he was awarded a reduced sentence after giving up the names of other dealers.

Unfortunately for Allen, once he had found fame and become one of the most successful stars of the 1990s, he was arrested again in 1997, whilst filming romantic comedy For Richer or Poorer. This time he was arrested for drink driving after police initially stopped him for speeding and then reportedly stated that they found him unsteady and smelling of alcohol.

After failing several sobriety tests, Allen was taken down to the station and his blood alcohol level tested at .15, almost double the legal limit. He entered no plea to the charges, was sentenced to one-year probation and was also court mandated to enter a rehabilitation clinic for alcohol abuse.
