2. Kenan Thompson

We all know Kenan Thompson is doing just fine, but has anyone spared a thought for Kel? The duo, who had a sketch show that turned into the film Good Burger, was - one supposes - Nickelodeon's attempt to tap into the urban audience. The In Living Colour to SNL's All That, if you will (which also, incidentally, featured a young Thompson and his partner Kel Mitchell).

Any loyal SNL fans will know that Thompson has been a regular, funny featured player since 2003, the longest African American cast member in the show's tenure. When Eddie Murphy returned to the show for an anniversary and was asked to his Cosby, his discomfort with the bit led to Thompson's dead-on, amusing impression.

As for Kel? Well, he did do a season of Dancing With the Stars and, according to MTV, still loves talking about Orange Soda (though he prefers diet, now).
