10. Mickey Rourke - Warhunt & The Commando

Famously a dog lover, we're pretty sure Mickey Rourke let his pets decide which films he'd appear in in 2022, as they were pretty dog-ass bad.

The star of Sin City and The Wrestler appeared in four different movies across the year; one of them was direct-to-video, one of them has no Wikipedia page, and one of them was Warhunt.

Released in January, Warhunt stars Rourke as a one-eyed World War II soldier who stumbles across a group of supernatural Nazis. So far, so schlocky.

The film stands on 27% on Rotten Tomatoes with critics deriding it for a lack of plot and poor production values even by B-movie standards.

Also in January came The Commando, that straight-to-video release we mentioned earlier.

This time Rourke is a criminal named Johnny who invades the home of a DEA agent played by Michael Jai White. It's got plenty of action, but fails to bring anything new to the genre.

On the whole, not a fantastic year of output for the Mickster. Still, he seems to be happy, and that's the main thing at the end of the day.
