Some actors work for the love of the art and some work in the pursuit of excellence, either for personal satisfaction, or for the auspicious rewards of major film awards - they tend to be the actors we love and lavish praise on. If they push the boat out in creating a performance - putting their bodies or minds through hell in preparation for roles - then the plaudits are doubly worthy. But there are also those actors who appear to only work for the money, offering very little and attracting only the faintest of praise in the process The majority of this list will focus on actors who know an awful lot better, who have hit a monumental rut and seem happy to wade through films offering the bare minimum to pick up their pay cheques without troubling the award givers, despite their obvious abilities. There are a couple, however, who seem to pick up work regardless of how poor or limited their work is, making more money than most of us will make in our entire lives despite displaying the kind of unsuitability to the job that would see most normal people sacked.
