10 Actors Who ONLY Star In The Worst Movies
10. John Travolta
John Travolta's career has been nothing short of a rollercoaster ride, coming to prominence off the back of roles such as Saturday Night Fever - for which he received his first Oscar nod - and Grease throughout the late 1970s, before entering the critical doldrums with the Look Who's Talking trilogy.
After going almost 15 years without a critical hit, Travolta's flagging career was revived with Pulp Fiction - for which he received a Best Actor Oscar nomination - which made him a bankable commodity once again while also leading to a solid streak of well-received films.
But Travolta's critical momentum hit the skids at the turn of the millennium, and since 1998's A Civil Action, just three of his 29 released movies have actually received mostly positive reviews.
To make matters worse, in recent years the actor has starred in a glut of low-effort straight-to-VOD action films, with four consecutive recent releases - Trading Paint, Gotti, Speed Kills, and the Poison Rose - scoring 0% on Rotten Tomatoes.
This led to Travolta scooping a Worst Actor Razzie award earlier this year for his combined performances in Trading Paint and The Fanatic, and also being nominated for the Worst Screen Combo award for himself and "any screenplay he accepts." Oof.
There's no question that Travolta has talent to spare, yet apart from a well-received performance as lawyer Robert Shapiro in The People v. O. J. Simpson, he's been stuck in a woeful rut for the better part of two decades now.
