The Role: With the new Neo getting a race-swap, why not do the same for the new Morpheus? Viggo Mortensen is a terrific actor who brings a rare level of dignified grit to his roles, and he'd be a fantastic leader to help introduce the new hero to this crazy world.
Plus, thanks to Eastern Promises, we already know he looks awesome in a suit and pair of sunglasses.
How Likely Is It?: This is really tricky. Mortensen is rather choosy about the roles he takes these days, and he hasn't appeared in a movie that grossed more than $50 million worldwide since 2007 (Eastern Promises).
It'd be easy to imagine him turning it down, which would be a massive shame, but then perhaps he's also somewhat overdue a paycheck role to keep his smaller parts bankrolled. Don't get your hopes up, though. 4/10
