4. Benedict Cumberbatch - The Big Bad

The Role: Because Tom Hiddleston's just a little too obvious, Benedict Cumberbatch should play the Hugo Weaving equivalent in the new Matrix. We know he can do villainy extremely well with his memorable turns in Star Trek Into Darkness and The Hobbit, so imagine the detached weirdness he could bring to playing the Final Boss agent.

How Likely Is It?: Cumberbatch has a lot going on with Infinity War and the upcoming Grinch movie, so like Brie Larson, this is really just a case of time and scheduling working out.

He clearly enjoys franchise fare, and he's got the chops no doubt, so it'd be a surprise if he wasn't already in contention in some form or another.
