2. Ezra Miller - The Flash

If anyone in the industry needed a comeback, it would without a doubt be Ezra Miller. Miller’s on-screen ability is second to none, with the American leaving their imprint on the industry within truly fantastic films such as We Need to Talk About Kevin and The Perks of Being a Wallflower, as well as their work within the DCEU as Barry Allen/The Flash. However, for what dynamism Ezra brings on-screen, their talent is underdone and overshadowed by the controversy that continuously surrounds them off it.

The actor seems to have been indicted with just about every felony you could think of, with the most recent additions including assault, burglary, and even allegations of grooming. Their mental health and well-being have been scrutinised for some time now, and although they have brought their reign of terror in Hawaii to a close now accompanied by a public statement recognising their wrongdoings, the 30-year-old still has a whole lot of making up to do.

The Flash is scheduled to release next year, and with real anticipation built up for it, it’s difficult to dissociate the film’s hype from Miller’s misconduct coming into play. Ezra’s future within the DCEU and the industry as a whole is uncertain and only they know what the future holds for them. Should they seek the help needed and stick with it, the move may prove a small step toward recovering and reviving a truly impressive career to date.
