Youd be forgiven if you too often wondered if Samuel L. Jackson was in every movie ever made. Hes got an insanely diverse acting history and hes been in so many good movies that its easy to forget about his lack of success at the Oscars.
Even more shocking is that hes only ever been nominated once, for Best Supporting Actor in Pulp Fiction. Ever since losing out there, Jackson seemed to have made peace with the whole ordeal and moved on to movies he was interested in, as opposed to devoting himself to trying to win awards.
Nevertheless, every time he stars in a Quentin Tarantino movie, hes setting himself up for another awards season run. Even if he was passed over for The Hateful Eight this year, Jackson is constantly starring in so many good movies with great directors that youve got to figure one of these days hell get properly rewarded, even if its really for his legacy and not one singular outing.
