10 Actors You Won’t Believe Don’t Have Oscars

There€™s no Oscar bait story material quite like Victorian England, and Keira Knightley is the poster child for that sort of period piece. She€™s starred in plenty of these prestige dramas and whenever she does any sort of historical movie, the conversation always turns to how she felt as it she truly belonged in that world

Evidently the Academy appreciates what she€™s doing, since Knightley€™s already been nominated twice, once for the lead in Pride And Prejudice, again for The Imitation Game. At this point, it€™s a wonder if she€™ll ever be able to make that final leap doing these kinds of movies, or if she€™ll have to step away from what everyone expects to ultimately grab an Oscar.

It really feels as if Knightley has been around forever so it€™s somewhat stunning to learn that she€™s only recently turned 32. Because she burst onto the scene at such a young age for Pirates Of The Caribbean, it€™s almost cause to forget how much career she still has in front of her. This, in turn, means she€™ll has plenty of opportunities to make herself ineligible for this Oscar-less classification down the line.
