10 Amazing Details You Missed In MCU Movies
10. Bruce Banner's Wish - The Avengers
Bruce Banner is one of the most relatable characters in the MCU. He just wants to live a normal, stress-free life, free from the burden of his angry green alter-ego and all the death and destruction that causes.
Okay, none of us can relate to the green alter-ego bit, but a peaceful existence is something we all strive to achieve in life, and Banner is no different, despite his startlingly unique circumstances.
This desire to live normally has been hinted at several times - most notably through his relationships with Natasha Romanoff and Betty Ross - but an even subtler nod came in the character's first appearance in 2012's The Avengers.
While Banner and Romanoff are talking about bringing Banner in to work with SHIELD, Romanoff tells him that he's gone a year without an incident (i.e. Hulking out), and that he doesn't want to break that streak.
In response, Banner states "well I don't every time get what I want", while simultaneously rocking a cradle.
It's a devastating sight - Banner can't even engage in intercourse, let alone raise a child of his own - and this further proves how brilliantly complex Mark Ruffalo's portrayal of the character really is.
