The Pitch: A chemical spill turns a lake full of beavers into...zombie beavers? Boobs and blood as well? Alright, then... Why It's Awesome: It might not have a title that rustles up much genuine interest, but believe it or not, Zombeavers is actually a whole lot of fun. With hilarious dialogue, a snappy pace, fun performances, solid gore, outrageous (and sometimes terrible) creature effects, this is a film that doesn't take itself a single bit too seriously, while rising above the Sharknado-esque expectations that might come along with its title. The perfect horror movie to watch with a few drinks (read: a lot of drinks) before heading out on the town dressed up this weekend, Zombeavers makes the most of its gimmicky concept and is a self-aware, uncommonly funny B-movie.
