10 Awesome Horror Movies Under 80 Minutes

6. Tetsuo: The Iron Man

You have never in your life seen a film quite like Shinya Tsukamoto's utterly mesmerising cyberpunk body horror masterpiece Tetsuo: The Iron Man.

Low on budget and time but high on invention and scorched-Earth insanity, Tetsuo basically revolves around a businessman (Tomorowo Taguchi) who is slowly transformed into a horrific chimera of man and metal.

Less a captivating story than it is a surreal vision you simply can't look away from, Tsukamoto's film has the most uniquely grotesque sights to show you, from offputting sexual imagery to an especially creatively effed-up fusion of human and machine.

It's certainly not for everyone, but it's tough not to at least respect the balls-to-the-wall invention on offer throughout all of its 67 gloriously monochrome minutes.
