Not an awesome character per se, but an annoying one whose imagination gave birth to one of the most by-turns nightmarish, weird and dazzling fantasy stories of all time. And thats the problem. Dorothy has a DayGlo fever-dream that looks like a collaboration between Lewis Carroll and Will Wonka, then when she wakes up believes it was real. Deciphering what goes on within that dream flying monkeys, scabby witches, helium-voiced dwarves and all would be a horrifying prospect even for Freud. Its not a glimpse into a healthy mind, thats for sure. And none of thats even taking into account the fact that Dorothy is obviously an adult woman dressed as a toddler. Theres a worrying case of extreme delusion going on with that girl.
