Simply do as Cesar Romero did for the original Batman series and hide it, pretending that you haven't actually grown one in the first place, rather than just shaving it off (which would probably have been easier.) Romero was clearly very attached to his facial hair, since he chose to simply have it covered in grease paint when he donned his Joker costume for the show, in the hope that no-one would notice the stow-away on his lip. But we weren't fooled. This one is perhaps more advisable if you are a clown, or your friends are used to you wearing heavy make-up in public. Because otherwise, there's going to be a lot of questions.
