Perhaps Im playing it a bit loose with the term accessory but Im going to take it as meaning anything that accompanies the protagonists in their quest across the galaxy. And in this case I am going to suggest the vast amounts of futuristic travel aids used within the films. I refer in particular, to perhaps the most popular and well known spaceship, the Millennium Falcon; although its exterior may not look too pleasant, she's got it where it counts and once inside you have the freedom of choice to travel anywhere in the galaxy that you desire. The galaxy is yours to roam; perhaps you could attempt to beat the Kessel run in less than 12 parsecs? The only issue is that Im struggling to find a practical use for it, other than travelling to distant planets, but I believe thats a justifiable reason in its own rights. A suggestion that is perhaps more practical for every day use would be the speeder bikes used by the Imperial Scout Troopers in Return of the Jedi. These vehicles could be used for a number of things, simply travelling from one location to another, or perhaps a more daring idea would be to create a new type of racing, after all we were on the edge of our seats watching the short sequence in the film, so imagine a whole race built around it. They could even wear the Storm-trooper outfit as protective gear. Surely the technology must be out there somewhere...
